So this here is my first blog ever. I'm an intern here at Qatalyst which is really a lot of fun -- so looking forward to this new issue. I'm in my "victory lap" at highschool, not so much fun, just a lot of work. Love art, design, more art, chocolate and laughing. Saw "The Golden Compass" last weekend and can't believe how the movie just ended like that, wondered for a moment if maybe there was a malfunction with the projector-magig. That's pretty much all about me right now ....so much work to do (what else is new?) I can't remember what day of the week it is anymore. Someone change the weather before waterloo and surrounding area freezes over. Y.

Just saw these three bands at the Grad House in Waterloo - it was jammed and due to an unfortunate bag theft in Barcelona, i couldn't take any pictures.... first of all, i just want to say that i am 100% sure that hilary's dreams are based on the sole fact that she finished reading jpod about a week ago. secondly, and most importantly. has anyone seen the movie INLAND EMPIRE by david lynch. i watched it last night. and want to talk about it. what. the. fuck. thats all for now. proof comes tomorrow. very excited to see it. C.

I just had this dream that I was at a party and there was a clown there.... and all of a sudden the clown started performing these totally evil magic tricks. jesus. on another note: The JAN/FEB ISSUE is out on JANUARY 22nd... so next Tuesday. and we're working on March now... so send us any thoughts, ideas, submissions, art, etc... etc.... FINALLY. the issue has been sent to press. i can't believe how long this one took. i think we set a new record. now its friday night - well- evening, and i have successfully screwed myself for the weekend by staying up all week till 5 am working and trying to force myself to fall asleep. and now here i am, finished work but exhausted. great. on hilary's comment, i think what she meant by controversial was awesome. so, if anyone wants to go out and celebrate the completion of yet another issue of qatalyst magazine (it will be out january......26....?...hilary?) then let me know and i'll set my alarm clock for 9pm and go do shots with you. C.
